Helped Carney, who was quiet in French. Ultimately, I think this is a draw.

American manufacturing hasn't been decimated. It has been automated. It's not Canada's fault that people aren't turning wrenches in factories anymore.

It boggles the mind how Premier Smith can take a harder line stance against the prime minister of her own country than the president of an enemy nation.

If she's unsure who is the bigger threat, her advisors have failed all Albertans miserably.

This is fantastic work and greatly appreciated by residents across downtown.

I just hope that all parties to this policy reflect on how they contributed to a policy backlash. These policies can be made stronger by such an exercise and avoid needless harm in the future.

Turns out that Canada has *checks notes* a free trade agreement with the United States recently renegotiated by the previous Trump administration.

Failure to adopt 'Good neighbour' policies, failure to take nearby residents concerns seriously, failure to clean up drug paraphernalia around their sites, failure to do outreach... there are many, many administrative failures here that absolutely rest with site management.

Hopefully, harm reduction activists, researchers, and service providers will reflect on how these policies can be pursued in a way that meets the needs of all community members.

Rebuilding trust with residents and businesses will be a long process, but a necessary one if we're to move forward.

Unfortunately, service providers must also accept some of the blame for this policy change. Their failure to manage the social disorder around their sites led to a sustained backlash from the public.

Ford didn't take these steps in a political vacuum.

As Trump threatens tariffs against Canada and Mexico, here are five things we know so far On social media Monday, he fired an opening salvo in the global trade war that he has long promised in his second term as U.S. president

Here's an article with a summary of where we are on the threatened 25% US tariff and some hints about what we might do.

Some good ideas in there; some bad.

Let me summarize in a thread.

Begin with 3 facts, then 3 things not to do, then 3 actions items.
