Went up to The Burl for the WRFL Birthday Bash, featuring two bands I found last year, and absolutely love: Die Spitz & Model/Actriz. Opener was a band from Louisville, PARKiNG, that blew me away. Beginning to end a 10 out of 10 show, one of the best shows I’ve ever been to… and I’ve been to a few.

My introduction, and favorite Josh Ritter album. The best songwriter of the past 26 years, and he should be more well known than he is. Fun fact: "Stephen King rated The Animal Years the best album of 2006 in an article for Entertainment Weekly."
