So it doesn't have the satisfying completeness that one expects and hopes for...but as a consummate control freak...maybe Paul got his way in the end. There will never be another Pee-Wee or Paul.

I feel very lucky to have met him and found the slight contrariness I encountered very present in his interviews. It's almost more of a sparring match with the director and, ultimately, turned into one.

Just finished Pee-Wee by Himself. Wonderful to get an inside view of a very private life. A reminder to how great the 80s were. But also sad...sad because of how he was victimized by the police for being both famous & closeted...though he says he doesn't want to be painted the victim.

Wow. Amazing. Powerful. Few ships. No pew pew. A series about the cost of rebellion. Heroism. Fate. Star Wars for adults.

This whole season felt like OUR story...digestible as science fiction...but unquestionably about us and our time.

All I know is that they better kill a shitload of Bothans in the next 3 episodes or nothing is going to make sense.

Primitive by today's standards, I remember specific scenes which, almost 50 years after the fact, says something about them...and me at a certain age. Funny how things resonate with us as kids and live on and evolve as we age.

When I was younger, I remember two miniseries that probably cemented my love for gothic horror. One was "Count Dracula", known in the US as "Dracula" with Louis Jourdan and the other was "Frankenstein: The True Story" with Michael Sarrazin.
