I’m still working on the design since mom passed a few years ago. She was a hairdresser and had a great laugh, so I’m working on and off on a pair of hair shears that incorporate a sound wave of her laugh.

Make it something they loved, or something you loved about them.

Fever had an interesting style and it still holds up. Two decades of devolving Panic!’s style into something barely distinguishable from the rest of the Dollar Store pop ballads, and now he wants to slap his face all over this? Gross.

Down to 140-ish when I first switched unfortunately, but it’s steadily climbing. At 155 now.

Picked up a Hyroad 40 heavily on sale. Hoping a weaker ball with a lower-flaring layout is what I need. Very tired of standing on 32-38 and trying to shoot at 20 lmao

All this is to say, don’t be afraid to start over from zero. Learned habits can be hard to unlearn, so sometimes you have to start from scratch to gain new insights and push beyond your previous limits!

By “adventure” I mean a pretty serious hit to my average and my confidence.

I’ve come a long way since February, but I still have even longer to go. I lack confidence to slide my foot properly; I’m worried about falling on my ass. I also need to keep my elbow tighter to my body.

But it’s progress!

Due to some intense wrist pain while bowling traditionally, over the last eight months I’ve been switching styles over to two-handed.

I used to have a ~190 league average, so this has been an adventure for sure.

Rug number four, a forest floor-inspired motif for a friend I’ve known since 6th grade.

Experimenting a bit with the design, going with loop pile for the ferns and small leaves, and cut pile for the moss and dirt. Also going to vary the pile length a bit to give each color a different height.

The mushroom servers are BlueSky’s official PDS (Personal Data Servers), and this just means your data was migrated from one region to another. Since it was back in 2023, I’m thinking they have some kind of automation that moves you to the data center nearest to your geolocation.

Got back from Lost Lands last night! Had an absolute blast, but unfortunately caught a sinus bug. Here’s some bath time Tummy Tuesday, courtesy of a 101.1°F fever.

There’s an artist I see doing commissions for and getting commissions from other artists, and I’m just like… y’all really gonna ignore the multiple times he drew underage characters?

Which artist am I talking about specifically? idk take your pick, there’s been a dozen of them. 😐

The only issues we’ve had with the P1S are a print bed adhesion failure because I bumped a lead screw and got a little grease on the plate, one filament break, and one spaghetti due to the wrong support settings. Other than that, it’s been pretty flawless.

Filament printers have come a long way in the last couple of years. I had an Ender 5 in 2019, it was just okay. We got a Bambu P1S recently and it’s night-and-day. I printed an entire Multiboard wall for my craft hobbies with it.

Putting the new frame through its paces, going to make a giant pup flag rug.

Built a larger tufting frame for bigger projects! The one that came with the kit was 30”x27” usable interior area. New one is 50”x33”
