“Bah! You should give it a taste before you believe that my bias thinking is speaking out loud.”

He said with a smirk.

- keeping my guard up, along with knowing not all of you are malicious. At the same time, I’m still need time to know you’re benevolent.”

“That’s because some vampires, from what I’ve heard, prey on mortals from time to time.

Though I understand that it’s not every last one of you who does. So there’s that, unfortunately you’ll have to deal with that stigma for awhile.”

He sat down and offered the tea to the other.

“It’s called -

“Oh, right! Well that’s because this ice cream was made from one of the best states, Alaska! That’s where I’m from!”

“Huh? Convince you of what if you don’t mind me asking?”

- here are… On the traditional side when it comes to their views. Anything that’s even remotely supernatural they tend to push back against.”

“Apple cider cinnamon it is.”

He was pouring a few ingredients into their cups, mostly a splash of lemon and smaller dosages of honey for added taste.

Then he was asked about why locals are skeptical about vampires as he was walking into the warm living room.

“Let’s just say that the people -

- so I had to buy it and store it on my lot!”

“I am a pilot after all, I flew planes this size all my life, might as well make use of them when they no longer can be used.

Here’s some history for this one, it was used in Vietnam, that’s how old it was.”

He chortled, it was older than Roman himself.

“This was the first one I flew as well, -

“I have plenty of flavors and spices here, I prefer apple cider cinnamon, but I also have peppermint and vanilla spice, plenty of more for that matter.”

He’d always prefer apple cider cinnamon, it was much more suitable, especially in the fall.

“Huh, why do you choose this song?”

As Roman invited Kyle onto the first house, he shows him around the entrance of the plane house that he made.

It’s very modern looking, most of all of the walls are insulated as well.

“Spent a few months on this one, mostly half a year if I’m honest, but I’m proud of how it came out!”

"Oh don't beat yourself up over it! The climate here makes living not as suitable compared to warmer states. Building more just means cleaning up more for property that likely didn't even need the additions!"

He said, going towards their first plane-house he made.

"And here's the first house!"

"Grahaha! That's Alaska for ya! Having space is what many of us prefer. Besides, not many people find this state to be suitable due to the climate.

If I fill most of the empty space up with non profitable items, it won't last long and it'll be junk!"

- too many people on his property at one time. There’s that, and it would only be a seasonal business.

“Heh… Now I’m imagining myself opening up a restaurant or diner that is made out of a plane or two. The idea has potential, at the same time, it sure if I want that many people on my property like that.”

Even though he runs a car shop and housing several people for Airbnbs, he wouldn’t want -

- cabin very warm, with a few lights still on, Roman went to the kitchen just to whip up some tea.

“Want some tea? And to answer your question? I help deliver cargo in Japan, I also give flying lessons over there.”

“Tch, I prepare for the long haul, I’ll be leaving in a couple of weeks at that. Though I’ve spent many seasons in the freezing climate here before. I’m one of the very few who can go outside without a shirt on and be fine.”

He mused, the fireplace and the heater in the house was keeping the -

- fall. I have another home in Japan, I go there during the winter time, mainly end of October to March.

Winter with my fluff jacket? Winters here are brutal, and business is slow for that manner.

I make up for it by having another in the land of the East.”

The cabin was somewhat like most lonely cabins in the middle of the woods, but Roman’s cabin was a little more modern with a second floor.

It had a fireplace, kitchen, living room, two bathrooms and with two bedrooms on the top floor.

- “Apologies for the inconvenience, still need to budget properly and get more generators, but that requires a lot more funds for gas.”

In spite of Roman’s thick fur and mane, he always had his house toasty around 70+ degrees, an that was to make sure his own cabin was warm enough to never deal with any freezes within the pipe system.

So, Lucian can immediately feel the warmth consume his body, so his shivers wouldn’t last long. -

“At least there’s something we can do together! And hell, I can even watch over you at night when you change forms.”

“Well come on then! It’s not too abundant with structures, most of it is open land, plan on doing more with it when I get more ideas.”

He said as he would move to show Kyle around.

“Hey, just stand by me if you’re worried about the cold, and no, it’s just about 100 feet from the a frame cabins.”

He said as he allowed Lucian to get close and use his large body as a way to shield from the cold.

“Shhh, not trying to rile you up, dear. Just looking after you.”

More floofy pets to Tomio on the back of his head from the large furred hand.

“How about this, you and I can still make dinner as an activity we can do together rather worry about eating it.”

“That’s a damn shane, I sure as hell ain’t becoming a butcher of human bodies just so you can eat well, pretty sure you can’t eat that in this form anyway.”

“… You said eating was impossible for you. Are you sure you can eat? What if you do it slowly and gradually? Surely there will be some change, right?”

He just never wants to see Tomio so sick around him.

And Roman simply enjoys the hug that Tomio was embracing in, those hefty and fluffy arms held the smaller man and allowed him to snuggle up even more.

“Ahh, I’ve been waiting to do this with you for awhile. Now we can have proper movie nights. Would have said dinner but, you know.”
