I am drawn to the idea of a first-person perspective, for I wish the reader to feel the heroine’s uncertainty and burden as keenly as possible — to peer into her mind, into the very depths of her soul.

I should also like to report some progress on my book — not measured by the number of pages, but by the refinement of its composition, tone, and structure.

For the moment, I am engaged in shaping the world itself and the manner of narration.

I’ve officially founded a team called Silent Voice.

At present, it consists of just one person — myself. My solo abilities are sufficient to deliver high-quality translations into Russian and Ukrainian, though in a few months there may well be an expansion or collaboration with other projects.

The latest news is as follows: I’ve begun translating from Japanese.

While I can’t disclose the exact title — such details are not to be made public — I have nevertheless taken my first proper step towards earning from scanlation and realising my potential as a linguist, even if through a hobby.

Otherwise, how could you ever know who I truly am, aside from being a maker of linguistic content?

Thus, dear readers, I’ve come to an important realisation — this account shall cover more than one topic.

Languages will remain at its heart, yet from time to time I’ll share bits of my work and everyday life as well.

To be quite honest, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s best to combine the two approaches: using AI to receive some guiding markers, and then applying your own reasoning from there. It strikes a balance, and helps you avoid becoming overly reliant on AI :)

But before I get that far, I want to design a GUI with Tauri, so that I don’t have to create .cldl archives manually. What’s more, I don’t want to be the only person using this project.

CLDL stands for ConLang Description Language. In essence, it’s just a ZIP archive, but with the .cldl extension. Inside, there will be YAML files, each describing a particular aspect of a language in a machine-readable way.

I keep coming back to the idea that I want to create something of my own connected with conlangs.
And it seems I’ve finally found what that is.

At the moment, I’m working on a format for storing language data and—here’s the exciting part—later on I’ll be building a toolkit based on CLDL.

Something doesn't feel right... I can't find any book about Icelandic language available at the marketplace. Except for an old book that was first published during the Russian Empire reign...
