I love New Zealand as a country, and I have been slowly exposed to Māori culture, and from that, I have been wanting to learn the language, to participate in the effort of keeping it alive :D

I'm also that type of person. But that's the way I proceed with Māori, because resources are scarce as well. However, I'm much more advantaged than you are because information isn't censored or behind difficult methods to obtain it. Sadly, I can't think of any method that would work for Icelandic

Do you have access to YouTube, or not at all? I believe there are things that can't be accessed to in Russia, so indeed, what I would have recommended is to create your own course through videos, but I'm not sure if it's doable :/
