Academic writing tip: Donβt write alone.
If youβre stuck, bring in a second brain. Ask a friend or colleague to read your draft. π€
Talking it out beats staring at your screen. Youβll get unstuck faster, spot whatβs not working, and see your ideas more clearly. π¬ #AcademicSky

How getting tenure changes researchersβ publication habits β and citations
Paper output varies between disciplines, as does the trend after tenure is achieved.
Faculty members in all disciplines tend to publish the most in the year before theyβre granted tenure.
But securing a tenured position is linked with a decline in paper output in some academic fields, via @nature.com

Get to the point

I made a little tool to sync my papers in @paperpile.com with @obsidian.md. It generates a markdown file for each paper and should handle annoying things like paper renaming and deletion.
I wish Paperpile would expose more data but the basic paper info gets imported.
Please use, extend, enjoy!
