One final post

I disliked the general FFXIV community from many incidents that involve my friends getting hurt, and I've come to hate it recently after finally reflecting on what I want and what I need. I've also become deeply uncomfortable being sexual and now identify as asexual

I won't be back.

Reminder to stand up for and do right by yourself. If you don't, you risk sacrificing parts of yourself until you've got nothing but hurt and resentment left.

Also reminder to consider people's feelings and wants if you think overly logical. It's easy to overlook and it'll cause lots of hurt.

This account will stay up for the sake of keeping the content here for the people who care, but also in case my drive ever comes back

Retiring this account because my drive for FFXIV has declined a lot

As much as I love this game, I haven't had much interest in continue playing aside from dailies and new content. Could never get into the RP scene, and posing takes too long to be worth it for me

Sanguine is poised center-screen, wearing black tactical gear consisting of tight sleeves and gratuitous underboob. She is captured at the very moment of the muzzle-flash of her weapon, supporting her firing arm with her other, while a trail of flame and smoke traces the path she has spun in order to aim down her sights. Her hair is flung out in the momentum, and the glare from the sights reflects the flash of the muzzle into the camera. Okay hear me tf OUT, this one was the result of like.. 2-3 hours(?) of post-processing editing, and I am SO proud of how it came out. I found some free pic assets for flame, smoke, blood, shadows, and a bunch of other things that I've been slowly adding to my pics, but this is a first attempt at proper mixed media + my own editing. Pose was just the MCH overheat shot, lighting/flame/smoke etc was all post and likely very overthought out/not entirely accurate, but it looks hella rad and was fun to do, so expect more to come!~ No AI was used! if i ever touch AI pls kill me, my friends can attest to my posing struggles, they saw me sitting in Baelsar's Wall for an hour, I did my time in photoshop here! apologies for the long delay in posts, Oct has been a very busy month, but I'm surviving! That’s the other thing that baffles me about AI and creative writing, actually.

The work IS the joy for me. I don’t want to be able to snap my fingers and have a completed “product.” I want to be transformed by the process. I’m an author but I do this because I enjoy the rigor of being a writer.

Mental struggles suck, and being in survival mode is even rougher. That being said, each step you take is still a step. Even if it isn't much progress, it's still SOME degree of process and it is still a feat worth something ESPECIALLY under so much stress.

Simply because you're in more fortunate circumstances doesn't discount your struggles. It's still hell, regardless of any comparison. You have every right to feel the way you do, as every struggle is still a struggle. Your pain isn't any less valid.

Remembered that I needed to finish my Star Build Strike Plavsky Wing, which looks a lot better than I anticipated during the build process. Sucks that the Plavsky Power Gate requires buying the Universe Booster

People spend way too much time and energy bitching and hating publicly and I think fandom spaces would greatly benefit if people just learned when to shut up and keep something to themselves/their friend circle

Suzume was originally cheery because I wanted to write a character that WASN'T edgy and brooding for once (I was JUST getting a grasp of who I was at this time)

THAT ended up turning into the massive edgy plot point of her past, and being cheery is her way of inspiring hope into others to move on

The 00 Raiser doesn't really teleport more than it does move incredibly fast with Trans-Am Burst due to having two solar reactors, but it's fast as fuck regardless

Considering how an Innovator like Setsuna was what allowed for the sync rate to go up, there's probably SOMETHING you could do with it

Funnily enough, Build Fighters and Build Divers are in G Generations Crossrays! Star Build Strike, Fenice Rinascita, Gundam 00 Sky, and Gabaldy Rebake are secret units if you beat the game and do the secret stage's quests.
