If staff at Inland Revenue Department NZ falsified 30,000 tax returns there'd be an investigation, right? Why are #NZpolice treated differently over falsified breath tests?

My favorite is when there's a left turn lane where the stop line is further back from the other lanes but Mr. Oblivious lines himself up with the people going straight and then doesn't trip the sensor so he doesn't get an arrow.
Noticing things is a superpower and I encourage more people to use it.
Board game covers arranged in a 5x5 grid with a play count in the bottom left, almost all were just a single play. These were recorded at BoardGameGeek.com and almost all in person. (The six that weren't in person also appear in the other grid.)
Board Games played online through the month of October, with play count in the bottom left of each box image. All played at BoardGameArena.com with only 6 overlapping with the other grid.
Board Games played through October, both in person and online at BGA Total recorded play is back to what used to be a low month for me.

point graph showing how many pages were read during the month of October. Also showing the first (Dwellers in the Crucible), middle (Star Trek IV), and last (Bloodthirst) book read. Mean Average pages per day was more than 140.
Books read during October, I've been spending a little more time with the reading than I had been. Finally reached the first non-TOS book, and have started the books published from 1988.

Itβs Labour Weekend in Aotearoa, where we celebrate Samual Duncan Parnell, unions, and the Labour movement (no, not the party) for getting us the 8hr work day and the weekend.

"He did not believe the coalition Governmentβs use of urgency and truncated select committee processes was behind the rise in submissions..."
Of course he would say this, but he's wrong, and disingenous. The evidence suggests that an overall poor legislative process IS significantly implicated.
When you think about it, it's kind of funny how the best things we could *actually* do for roads and travel times in AoNZ is rebuild our rail network and massively increase funding for public transport, walking and cycling

INTERVIEW OF 10 BY LCDR 11 Q. So how did you get yourself started into submersible 12 operations? 13 A. Well, I'm sure you're familiar with my film Titanic. When I 14 set down the path to make that film, the first thing that I did 15 was arrange to be introduced to the head of the submersible 16 program at the P.P. Shirshov Institute in Moscow, a guy named 17| Professor I. I did that through a mutual friend 18 of ours, a guy named , who is one of the preeminent underwater cinematographers in the world. And had been on a 20 submersible expedition out to Titanic the previous year with the 21 Russians. And that was organized by a Canadian company that was 22 doing an IMAX film which was released under the title Titanica.
Learned that an anonymous outside expert on submersibles did an interview with the OceanGate Titan investigation, and they released a transcript, with all the names redacted. The first line of his first answer? "I'm sure you're familiar with my film Titanic."

Read what you want to read and don't worry about what you "should" read. Your time is finite, books are awesome and there millions more than you can possibly read in a lifetime, there is no reason to self inflict literary suffering.

Yesterday I found a 21(ish) year old print out of my book collection. Today I cross-referenced it with my current LibraryThing.com database.
402 books then, 966 now. Maybe 5% was divested in the interim. Including one I have no memory of.
