i think that if I really lock in, i can get it done before mid march, but i've been soooo hooked on satisfactory and overwatch lately

I'm gonna be splitting it up into three (four?) drops, each one will contain a chunk of all the planned content. Drop one is gonna be a new poi, biome, and a phone (primarily made for fast travel)

Developing Terra S2 at a snail's pace... hooray!

Basically I just think I'm happier being active on social media as little as possible, I think it's been holding me back in terms of how productive I am anyways

And I've been so tired of how toxic it is, that and whenever I share an opinion there's bound to be people who get mad over it

Idk man I'm too socially anxious to interact with people, whenever I post something on the bird app & it gets a response I just freeze up and don't know how to respond

idk man i've always been for microtransactions, if you don't want them just don't buy them. uefn barely pays me anything ever since epic fucked up the algorithm mid 2025 so i just wanna try and figure out how to earn some of that revenue back

i rly wanna add microtransactions to terra but i know damn well how people are gonna respond to it lol

idk, i'm not backing down on this gameplay structure because there's so much i can add to try and make it better, but man does it sting to know my dream uefn game just isn't that good in execution

but nope... it's just not that good apparently.

and mechanically it's so damn complex, over 4k lines of code and like a dozen verse scripts keep everything running without any bugs.

gameplay wise, i was so confident in the new system. it's the same format as the first map, just this time you can free roam, buy better items, and do whatever you want. i'm trying to appeal to the general fortnite playerbase, people just want to drop in and fight without any filler.

i knew the actual playable map would be a 50/50, i'm not that great of an environment designer and do much better with just raw level design.

i've heard from several places now that the new terra map just isn't as good as the first and i just feel so demotivated man
