At my mom's celebration of life in November, I had a table of shakers filled with wildflower seeds for people to take with them and sprinkle a little bit of what mom loved so much all around. She would stop all the time to collect wildflower seeds wherever we went.

I recently read a story about sprinkling wildflower seeds over the ashes of fire damage-that it can take awhile to break ground on a new home, business, library, etc.... and returning to flowers is more helpful, hopeful, and uplifting than just ashes.
