What a sad state our country is in when we see a message like, “The only thing more powerful than hate is love,” and we all immediately know it’s about the President of the United States.

I'm hardly the first person to note this, but it's enormously instructive that our President and his followers saw the message "THE ONLY THING MORE POWERFUL THAN HATE IS LOVE" and understood it, correctly, as an attack on them

1. It was not an accident.
2. It was not a staffer.
3. While the president may have dementia his racism is not due to dementia.
4. He isn’t sorry. He means every racist thought he shares.
5. His base agrees with him.
6. He will do it again.
7. No one in power will hold him accountable.

Turns out Democrats didn’t take your guns.

The Trump administration just decided carrying one makes you dangerous.

How's that sitting with the 2nd amendment supporters?

We have first amendment rights, until ICE decides we don’t.

We have second amendment rights, until ICE decides we don’t.

We have fourth amendment rights, until ICE decides we don’t.

We have eyes that see and ears that hear, until our government decides we don’t.

On NPR on Friday, there was a story of a 4-year-old--an American citizen--who hasn't left her house since early December, not even to play in the yard. And her 8-year-old brother recently stopped going to school, too. Their father is undocumented, and the family doesn't want to risk him being taken.

If ICE can murder you for having a legal firearm in your holster, then you don't have the right to bear arms.

Looking forward to the Pretti Good Act which will dismantle ICE forever.

They murdered Good and Pretti, a poet and a nurse, one whose last words were “I’m not mad,” another whose last act was shielding another. Because of course that’s who they killed. Everyday people.

“Everyone should be allowed to carry a gun for their safety but the government can murder you in the street if you have a gun” is an incredible endpoint for the conservative moment

I’m trying to understand Republicans’ latest interpretation of the 2nd Amendment. You can now be executed by federal agents if you possess a firearm? Even after you are disarmed? I’m just trying to keep your position straight on this “shall not be infringed” stuff.

the 45,000 gun deaths we suffer each year are just the price we pay to live in a society made safe from government tyranny by an armed populace

Some perspective: The S&P opened down -1.3% on Trump's Greenland saber-rattling. That's $750 billion of wealth destroyed -- roughly equal to estimates of the value of Greenland.

And so ~in dollar terms~ his shenanigans have already cost the US one Greenland, and we've got nothing to show for it.

ICE is NOT a "Training" problem.

It's the fact that the far too many felons, gang members and other socially maladapted people have been employed by ICE...and then defended by the WH each time they commit a crime.

Don't fall for that "training" BS. You don't "train" a rattlesnake...you get bitten.

Pedophilia, extreme corruption, and rampant incompetence doesn't even dent Trump's hardcore MAGA support. The only way they'd ever turn from him is if he said "Treat immigrants and minorities with respect."

Using phony criminal charges to intimidate his opponents.

Deploying masked thugs to terrorize American cities.

Unilaterally threatening and bombing foreign countries.

Trump is a ruthless dictator, plain and simple.

The DOJ has smoke for Jerome Powell, but none for the people in the Epstein files? 👀

Also, investigating possible criminal activity everywhere except the White House? Bold move, Pamela.

A felon who married an immigrant is telling a lot of y’all that the problems in this country all stem from felons and immigrants.

But keep buying that stupid red hat that’s made in China.

The president called this grieving woman and her murdered wife professional agitators. The federal government called them terrorists. We are ruled by irredeemable monsters

This should rank as one of the most serious corruption scandals in history- the White House sharing top secret military information with oil company executives but not with Congress, creating massive opportunities for insider trading and other corrupt deals.

So much of American history is just impulsive and extremely stupid elites, who don't believe in consequences because they have never personally experienced them, doing highly consequential stuff because they're bored or believe it might make them richer. I guess a lot of our culture, too.
