So why did the minister postpone Finglas Luas and DART West then?
1) Write to any school a child of yours is in (you can add a link to the gist essay if that’s helpful) and ask the school to close their x account.
2) Irish Rail exclusively use X to provide travel alerts. Email them and ask them to move those alerts to their own app, or Instagram or anywhere else.

A massive old oak, wrapped in ivy, down by the shores of Bantry Bay, West Cork.
So many people still believe ivy is a 'parasite', or 'kills trees', but in Europe it's a natural and vital part of forest ecosystems, providing food, shelter, and cover to a great range of wildlife.
It's worth cataloguing what has happened in the water world in the last few weeks alone.
It paints a picture of a Government who are not at all prioritising the health of our waterways, and who are failing on multiple fronts to put in place the measures we actually need.

We have started to do this here. A couple more planned too. www.codema.ie/our-work/tal...

Great discussion on rewilding in Europe as part of the @irishwildlifetrust.bsky.social Autumn Seminar Series in Trinity College
We welcome the news that the National Parks and Wildlife Service have purchased 100 acres of forestry land beside the Glen of the Downs nature reserve.

If Jim Gavin gets 12.5% or more, Fianna Fáil gets €250,000 in expenses refunded. Bear that in mind if you're voting for Jim Gavin as a joke.

Hundreds of these bags are used every year to collect leaves by residents, along Home Farm and Griffith Avenue. It's pure abdication by the council who should be doing this work themselves.
