Can personally confirm my abuser was NOT a fetishist, or a furry, or gay or trans or a babyfur or proship or literally any of these other terms. He was a cishet white man with a job & somebody yall would call normal and ‘not degen’. I was eight and he got away with it because he was normal.
It’s also very minimizing to who these predators are. A lot of child abusers aren’t ’creepy old queer men with nasty fetishes’ you’re playing into homo/transphobic stereotypes. A lot of times they are NORMAL ASS PEOPLE. Your favorite coworker. Your family member. Somebody you trusted. A ‘normal’ guy
I am personally extremely uncomfortable with any sort of incest / ageplay kinks. But being an adult means I need to accept the reality that ‘adults playing pretend’ and ‘my tangible, actual trauma’ are entirely separate concepts.
