Well, it's a little clearer now why billionaires are so invested in technology that produces better written emails.

The assassination of Charlie Kirk makes we worry we can no longer have peaceful discussions of whether gays should be stoned to death or civil and collegial debates about whether black people are inherently inferior. Our culture will suffer.

James Dobson dies; leaves legacy as influential, at times controversial, Christian leader James Dobson founded Focus on the Family and his legacy is defined by his longtime commitment to educating evangelicals on traditional family values.

Some good news to report today:

James Dobson dies; leaves legacy as influential, at times controversial, fake Christian leader that helped fuck up the separation of church and state.

Watters: Do you think it’s smart for all headlines to say Democrats ran away from the job?

Nellis: Do you think it's good for the headlines to say Republicans are so worried about losing the mid-terms that they decided to rig the maps?

Ok, Baltimore, time to find an indoor home for Mr. Rogers!

He's been living in our guest room and wandering around the house for two weeks now, and he's had all his shots and has been treated for parasites. He has immaculate manners, no spraying, and just wants lots of scritches and playtime.

One problem with the idea of reserving due process for law-abiding people is that due process is how we figure out which people are law-abiding.

This fucking monster has spent $60 million of New York taxpayer money trying to bury me and the other woman he harassed alongside the nursing home victims his policies killed.

This man can go to hell. He is headed there sooner or later anyway.

How Musk behaves after this will show he’s more ideological than people think. He won’t adjust to appease customers & shareholders.

He’s not just pulling a con for business leverage. He’s a genuine fascist & white nationalist. Dismissing him as a con artist underplays his danger.

And like Marc Cuban I want to know who believes these things because I don’t want to find myself needing someone to help me and then realizing ONLY THEN that my life is disposable to them.

And though the organizations dedicated to terrorizing Jews should have to use their money on the defense of the heinous actions they’re encouraging, we also have to recognize that you can’t deport people without due process. It’s not legal and it’s fascist.

It’s not defending actions to say that.

Marc Cuban once said after the Donald Sterling shit that he thought people should be allowed to express Nazi and white supremacist views so he knew who to avoid and not associate with. It’s a long distance from allowing speech and platforming it. But we have laws and systems. We HAVE to use them

…What they’re doing is morally repugnant, harmful and grotesque and they shouldn’t be accepted anywhere in civil society. But they’re protected. I just wish the ACLU maybe found less repugnant people to fund.” And I stand by all of that.

The (Republican) professor asked me for why and I was like “they’re on federal land. They’re exercising their speech against federal agents. They’re at a distance. They’re protected here in ways they wouldn’t at private ceremonies. But let me be clear—we also have a right to shun them…

In undergrad I took a (400 level) con law class. I was usually the one falling in line with Thurgood Marshall and so I surprised everyone when I was the ONLY person in the class who agreed with the Westboro Baptist Church having the right to protest veteran funerals on federal cemeteries.

The stock market is not the economy. The stock market is not the economy. The stock market is not the economy.

Nonetheless, holy shit.

What’s remarkable is that there’s hardly any real news driving this. It’s just investors belatedly realizing that Trump is who he is, and always was.

This is absolutely the idea. That he is one of the more extreme protestors at the university most centered in this convo is also part of it: people will be afraid to speak out even if they disagree with the action.

The goal is staged implementation of fascism, starting with the least desirables.

How do I get people to engage here??? I follow more than 18 people (tho it is harder to find people here) and don’t even want engagement in a “building an account legacy” way. I just want someone to talk to 😫😫😫

I don’t know how to explain this better to American Jews but deporting people with green cards without due process of law will NEVER EVER be good for Jews. Even if the person experiencing it sucks. In history, these sort of fascist endeavors INEVITABLY turn on Jews.
