Best paper i wrote was 10-15 pages on the history of the Beowulf manuscript. Covered 1200 years in about six hours with a daylong marathon of Storage Wars in the background. By the end I wasn’t even sure what time zone I was physically in.

Fwiw i was first diagnosed with fibroids when I was in Vancouver for grad school. They also told me I needed to wait several months for an MRI, but I went back home to the states for summer not long after and my GP said MRI wouldn’t show anything more than the ultrasounds had already. 2nd opinion?

In related news I drizzled a little pomegranate syrup on a roasted acorn squash half and it was delicious.

It’s been a strange and unexpectedly emotional day. I managed to regain some equilibrium with a sensible dinner and finishing an ornament.
