Very disappointed by today’s Government decision on the WASPI campaign. Many women in the South Cotswolds and across the UK were left worse off by pension changes with little notice. I’ve led debates, met campaigners, and I won’t stop pressing for fair compensation.

I’ve joined cross-party colleagues in calling on the Prime Minister to scrap the two-child limit in the November Budget. Ending this policy would lift hundreds of thousands of children out of poverty and give every child a fair start in life.

The past fortnight has been full of conversations across the South Cotswolds 💛 I’ve also been helping with casework on pensions, housing, Universal Credit, student support and more. Always a privilege to support where I can.

Yesterday I asked the Justice Secretary what he’s doing to tackle court backlogs. ⚖️

Constituents are right to be worried, victims are being denied justice and delays are growing. I’ll keep pushing the Govt to fix this and ensure our courts deliver for everyone.

I’ve written to Stagecoach West alongside Sir Geoffrey Clifton Brown about the recent 51 bus timetable changes. These adjustments are affecting young people, NHS and care staff, and older residents, creating long waits and gaps during peak travel times.
