I’ve joined cross-party colleagues in calling on the Prime Minister to scrap the two-child limit in the November Budget. Ending this policy would lift hundreds of thousands of children out of poverty and give every child a fair start in life.

The past fortnight has been full of conversations across the South Cotswolds 💛 I’ve also been helping with casework on pensions, housing, Universal Credit, student support and more. Always a privilege to support where I can.

Yesterday I asked the Justice Secretary what he’s doing to tackle court backlogs. ⚖️

Constituents are right to be worried, victims are being denied justice and delays are growing. I’ll keep pushing the Govt to fix this and ensure our courts deliver for everyone.

I’ve written to Stagecoach West alongside Sir Geoffrey Clifton Brown about the recent 51 bus timetable changes. These adjustments are affecting young people, NHS and care staff, and older residents, creating long waits and gaps during peak travel times.

Young Futures Hubs to launch offering vulnerable young people lifeline Vulnerable young people who are at risk of being drawn into gangs, violence or knife crime will be given the help they need when the first Young Futures Hubs get up and running later this year.

Another busy week in the South Cotswolds – ‘Meet Your MP’ events in Somerford Keynes, the Ampneys & South Cerney, canvassing across the constituency, volunteering at Lechlade Library, visiting Poulton Post Office & Pantry, South Cerney Cafe Society, and Fairford WI.

🚨 I’ve written to the Policing Minister about the closure of Gloucestershire’s Schoolbeat programme. This is a vital service helping to safeguard young people.

Cutting it risks undoing years of trust, prevention, and early intervention. We need fairer police funding now.

I'm deeply troubled by news that councils may be forced to sell off community allotments to stay afloat.

Allotments have supported communities for generations and help people grow their own food and improve their health,

The Government must do better and I’ll work to protect them.
