I’m not entirely confident that this icing recipe would work with white chocolate, but if there’s a white chocolate icing recipe you’re comfortable with, do use that. The cake you’re planning sounds lovely!

The important thing is that you use the blender goblet or some sort of jar into which the stick blender fits very snugly.
