Yeah I kinda went on the inverse since I've always been a bit more tight on budget growing up, with mmos and battle passes giving me a lot of playtime for a little bit of money here and there. I do find the time to squeeze in some single player stuff, but otherwise I need friends to try new things.

Yeah, fortnite brought on the live servicification with battle passes in so many games. You can fit only so many services into a single life, and unless you're like me and love meticulously planning your gaming schedule, its too darn much.

I've been playing fortnite for years, but i've been a founder since before battle royale was even a thing in it, so my experience is far more biased than someone who's only known it for battle royale onward. But yeah I don't blame ya for your view on it.

What mode was the gateway to pull them in? Festival for rhythm games? Lego Fortnite for the minecraft clone?
