Astraea. I wanted a myth name that was star or sky related & went through a list of Greek myth names.

Astraea in myths disappears when the world goes to shit, which I felt fit how in game, Azem is considered to have just disappeared during the Final Days.

((I feel like I have more to share on this (more generalized, & less shippy) but my mind’s drawing a blank atm. I’ll probably have more to share on this later.))

When they 1st become a couple, Hex hesitates for a moment because by that point, Hex has spent enough time in OS to be more aware of how it’s perceived (Thancred always being aware & holding back commentary for years). It didn’t stop them though.

Even before they’re a ship, they share food as naturally as breathing. Even when not talking to each other in SHB, they still habitually share food/utensil, though bicker about being able to feed themselves when handed utensil (something Ryne, Y’shtola, & Urianger pick up on & speculate more about)⤵️

After Falcon’s Nest, Hex becomes a lot more guarded about her food from others, but after Thancred swigs her drink post-Grand Melee (this also nbd to him due to childhood in the streets & need to for infiltration) she finds he’s someone she can still comfortably share food/drink with.⤵️

Food sharing’s very normal in Hex’s village, so she’s used to doing it with those she’s close to (picture her holding her fork to Alphinaud & him politely taking the food off onto his plate because it’s weird/gross to him or her giving her fork to Alisaie who gets flustered over it)⤵️
