The need to help animals exists directly because of the way society treats those animals so more community foundations should be supporting animal causes.

As alternatives get implemented and/or funding resources are constrained, I hope researchers and animal advocates will help the animals being replaced achieve sanctuary versus the alternative. It's the right thing to do.
