I can well believe it, but why didn't Biden release the files and bring charges?
I agree he understands what he was required to do, but suspect he's not capable of giving a "high level overview".
I made a childhood dream come true when I joined the Royal Navy but it wasn’t all plain sailing as I was due in court the day I joined up…
Read these raw and gritty memoirs to find out about the rascal I was before, during and after my service…

He'll claim he won and most of the press will nod along.
They are all the right names, but not necessarily in the right order. 😉

Welcome to #UKBookIndustryClicheBingo2026! This thread collates adjectives from The Bookseller's e-newsletter to identify the year's most over-used cliches.
2025's top cliche was 'major', ahead of 'new' and 'urgent'; 'extraordinary' won in 2024, while 'powerful' and 'major' tied in 2023.

Why are they interviewing this spineless has-been?
A Japanese author won a similar award, and several TV crews from Japan covered the ceremony.
A friend won a major award and their publisher has never mentioned it. Others, long listed for the same award, have that fact mentioned in their publicity.
Yes, doesn't give you the chance to respond.
It's a voiceover, added in the studio.
Was that all?
I'm more concerned about where it will go.
It's a classic!
Thanks for sharing my pinned post.
Have a lovely day.
I've just set one up for my writing group. We hear so much good writing which never gets seen. At least they're now available. Good luck with yours.

It seems a shame to let it disappear.
Bloody hell, I used to work with that tw*t on the right. Last time we went for a drink he tried to start a fight with the barman because he thought he was being racist towards me. WTF is going through his head?
The Home Office is clearly still full of the racists put there by the Tories.
