I keep saying we grew up in a Goldilocks era. Not perfect but seemed bright like there were possibilities and the expectation that the future would continue to be better than the past. Now I don’t know if any of it was ever true. Some of us woke up in 2016. Still waiting on others to catch up.

No longer very religious however this seems relevant considering..

Minimally the remaining democratic governors should not attend in protest.

Same thoughts, but also like swindling people out of their money (obviously using kompromat) and managing said money. This is is an endeavor that requires a lot of time.

I heard the most apt description of the Democratic Party. They are the HR of politics, they enforce being polite, rule following, and tradition but ultimately are working for the corporations interests. The other is just more blatant about it.

Imagine if some of our politicians took this posture a decade ago. Instead we have some of the most craven cowards who allowed themselves (and families) to be denigrated and disrespected. They will never be able to retrieve what little dignity they ever possessed.

I feel we are at the unfortunate point that parallels a domestic violence situation. The victim can report, report, report, and unless and until something REALLY horrific happens (not that horrible things aren’t already happening) nothing will be done. Sad state of affairs indeed.

That’s when it ended for me. Everything that’s transpired since has just been icing on the shi!!y cake. Every person who has continued to support this nonsense after that point IMO is not a serious or ethical person.

His sycophants won’t. Almost daily there is something that should have ended this thing. They don’t care, and will just parrot him “it’s a witch hunt”. Ugh!
