Brewers donβt have an organist.

AKA Reverend Riot; Roller derby, Brewers, baseball, scorecards, national parks. Now in New Father edition!
Brewers donβt have an organist.
31.10.2025 03:51 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Yes, teams from one division make it when other teams do worse, thatβs how this works. Do you think the NL central is having games where both teams get to count a win? If not then those wins came from beating teams outside the βterribleβ division.
26.10.2025 10:28 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This. People act like with a salary cap cities like LA and NYC wouldnβt be more attractive to play in than Milwaukee or Cleveland. That those teams wouldnβt continue to attract the biggest name players.
21.10.2025 21:44 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Even more so as they continue and continue to expand the playoffs.
19.10.2025 21:11 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0But isnβt that what the pennant used to be? You have the most wins in your league, you win the pennant and the two pennant winners get to play in the WS to see what would happen.
Then they added playoffs, and now making it through the semi-finals gets its own award. The pennant should be as it was.
I got to see them twice this year, opening day at Yankees, and home opener that was their fourth loss in the first four games Β―\_(γ)_/Β― so it goes
Hoping we see the Jays in the WS
And they set a franchise record for wins. This is the best #Brewers team weβve seen, I really believe that, and theyβre young.
Give them some time together, extend some contracts, theyβre not Average Joes anymore.
And if anyone thinks they disappointed #Ueck , I donβt think so.
#ThisIsMyCrew
I refuse to be upset about this #Brewers season.
Every year, every team except one has their season end sort of a WS victory, and that is often a team just getting hit at the right time, so many WC teams have won recently.
But 162 games played, Brewers had the best record of anyone, outright.
A salary cap will not make anything better. It will only let billionaires keep even more of the money the players are making for themselves. ANY team could afford Ohtani, only two or three were ever truly in the running.
18.10.2025 02:27 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Same thing happened in last yearβs post-season, and if I had to guess itβs the result of so many young players, so many first and second year players. Blinded by the lights.
18.10.2025 02:22 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The two games they lost to the Cubs were the Cubs playing small-ball. The announcers even said that every year three-true-outcome teams start playing a different style of ball (aka small ball).
We went cold up at the same time we faced THE dominant rotation of the sport.
And weβre gonna get one. Because no matter what else the owners will use this to βproveβ the need exists.
As though capping salaries is going to make Milwaukee or Cincinnati more appealing to a superstar compared to LA or NYC.
They were literally one hit away from winning at the end of game one.
18.10.2025 01:36 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Genuinely curious, during game 2, the announcers were talking about pitching and mentioned that Ohtani is listed as a position player for the Dodgers. How would they use him as a starting pitcher with the rules about position players pitching?
#NLCS #Brewers #Dodgers
Thatβs really the thing. Security needs to show some discretion, and other fans need to speak up. Cursing at her is deserved if sheβs behaving this way. So sorry he has that experience.
16.10.2025 18:17 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Same reason itβs always the middle aged bald/shaved head with his sunglasses on in his pickup truck. They stereotype themselves.
16.10.2025 18:15 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I wasnβt even responding to you?
14.10.2025 03:39 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0If were gonna be reductive, two Cubs players welcomed Charlie Kirk onto the field and took photos with him. Cubs fans love the Cubs players, including those players. Cubs fans hate Brewers fans. So by extension Brewers fans are Antifa?
Or again, no group is monolith.
I think there can be positive reasons, is all
Iβm saying. Storylines you like, approaches you appreciate, stuff like that? You want to hate MAGA, for sure, there are actual players and teams you can hate for that. EG Rangers still refuses to host a pride night.
1) Like a lot of people I use aggregators on BSky, so when you mention sports teams a lot of people see your posts that wouldnβt otherwise. Change settings if you donβt want those people engaging with you.
2) may be, but you canβt so arbitrarily dismiss everyone from half the country politically.
Nobodyβs whole state voted any direction. This is such a dumb take.
Iβm in NY, btw.
And the Guggenheim Partners ownership group absolutely voted Trump and exemplify capitalism, but so does Brewersβ ownership because all Billionaires do.
Maybe politics arenβt the determining factor for sports team loyalties?
Reminder to anyone not cheering for the Brewers, Milwaukee absolutely DIDNβT vote Trump, and was the first major city to have a socialist Mayor. Wisconsin is also the only state with an NFL team that is publicly owned, and the only reason we have any idea what NFL clubsβ finances look like.
14.10.2025 01:35 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 3 π 0It actually wasnβt a catch, thatβs why it was a live ball!
14.10.2025 01:14 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0William Contreras.
The ball is round.

Why include that last sentence if household opinion doesnβt matter?
Not for nothing, interesting to see that Pioneer League/Oakland Ballers ad during NLDS Game 5. BananaBall picking up a lot of steam lately.
Is MLB going away? No. Do players with fan support have more options these days? Yes.
#NLCS takes have been so funny since the #Brewers made it.
Itβs either βThey have the best record in baseball, theyβre not Average Joes!!!β or itβs βLOL, Dodgers could put position players out there to pitch and win this in four gamesβ.
Often both with a βbut anywaysβ in between.
Absolutely, nothing will deter them from that. But the Brewers having the best record this season, going 6-0 against the LAD in the regular season, and weβll see how this NLCS goes; could provide an argument that a cap isnβt needed, especially amongst the average household.
13.10.2025 19:12 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Itβs about a group of guys (Plus Yeli, Chourio, and Hoskins) who would generally be considered replacement level players coming together and getting it done.
13.10.2025 18:59 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The Average Joeβs thing isnβt about record. Ask most serious baseball fans, most casual baseball fans; theyβre going to be able to name more Dodgers or Yankees players than Brewers. Itβs about the fact that at the beginning of the season many, even in Milwaukee, were asking βwho are these guys?β.
