Only just now getting around to this since I've been sucking off City Trial for 3 months
Insanely good finale, right up there with World of Light's. Ending cutscene got me a little emotional, ngl

...leaving me vulnerable to the annoyances PC gaming has me dealing with in exchange for visuals that don't particularly change the way I play in any real capacity
there's a strong argument to be made that I could've been far more amenable to PC gaming now if I hadn't gotten so engrossed with lower-powered handhelds and all of the compromises they entailed for their portability...

i feel like you're a little biased here
of course, a lot of my enjoyment of handhelds comes from the handhelds themselves
the smaller form factor lends them to having a much more "personal" feeling than consoles, so I find myself caring a lot more about their general designs and layouts, very fun stuff to analyze over the years

it's a format dominated by Japanese devs unafraid of putting marquee franchises and big creators onto a portable format, because that's what their home territory largely preferred, so I grew up with that kind of output
it's definitely something to think about that my tastes in games right now could've been entirely different if, having been handheld-focused my whole life, the West had taken them seriously as platforms instead of treating them as dumping grounds for shovelware and C-tier spinoffs until the Switch
