This is super interesting -- and a bit depressing -- but I'd also like to see the equivalent survey done on teenage boys! Because I think sometimes there's an assumption that boys are being catered to with things like gym equipment, but actually... maybe they want spaces to hang out and chat, too?

I really believe any one who works in city planning, roadways etc. should be required to travel to other jurisdictions and see what road design can be. Never felt unsafe biking in Amsterdam or central London...here I never would even dare.
