Bird shooting is a pastime we will never understand, shooting innocent beings for ‘sport’.

While the RSPB does some genuinely important conservation work, it is not opposed to bird shooting. The organisation maintains that certain forms of land management linked to shooting can benefit specific bird populations. We profoundly disagree.

General Licence restriction imposed on Scottish shooting estate for shooting of Golden Eagle We don't imagine Raeshaw Estate will be quaking in its boots though...

According to NatureScot, banning the estate from killing crows is going to stop wildlife crime. We don’t agree…

Shooting birds is not a "sport"; it's a cruel and outdated pastime that has no place in a modern, compassionate society.

"Charles III’s patience with his brother may have snapped after a wave of fresh revelations about his friendship with the paedophile Jeffrey Epstein but it does not extend to banning him from using royal estates to go shooting with his friends, or horse riding "

Sir David Attenborough has backed a £30 million campaign to buy and rewild the 15-square-mile Rothbury Estate in Northumberland, a former grouse moor once owned by Lord Max Percy. The Wildlife Trusts aim to restore its bogs, woodlands, and farmland, creating a 40-mile wildlife corridor.
