Dog walkers spotted strange patterns in eroded clay on a Scottish beach which turned out to 2,000-year-old footprints. Storms had revealed the site and so In freezing winds and rising tides, our archaeologists raced to record it before it vanished again. Days later, it was gone.

A new analysis argues that re-conceptualising cancer as a long term condition would give people who wish it the opportunity for long-term pro-active primary care input after treatment.
