8 yr old, made a Thank You note for a recent gift. Did the front cover & back but refused to put anything inside. When pressed to draw something inside, this is what he came back with, saying “It’s a Magritte joke!” 😳…Watch out world. (Reference photo from en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Tre...)

I was always struck by the fact that it didn’t look smooth and metallic but textured and rough or chalky. Of course I know now it’s the insulation tiles.

It was amazing.

It was the best! They have a great Timelapse video of that shuttle trip. I also remember when it was landing at LAX for that trip, it did a farewell pass over most of LA and I was on the roof of the studio I was at on walkie doing a play by play. I’m sure everyone loved that.
