UCL’s ‘Anti-Genocide University’ is launching our new collaborative initiative with staff, students and alumni: the Engineering Resistance Room. You may have heard of Tel Aviv University’s ‘Engineering War Room’ where students work to develop technology for the Israeli army; technology which is being used as you read this to facilitate the indiscriminate murder and displacement of the Palestinian people, in a form of colonial violence that grows more depraved by the day. Our group was set up to oppose this through the repurposing of the valuable skill sets of STEM and Engineering students and staff within the Palestinian solidarity space at UCL. Are you an engineer or scientist at UCL who wants to learn more and join this initiative? Email us at antigenocideuniversity@proton.me
