That hood mask is also OEM and took me FOREVER to find (and at least two attempts to get into the hood!). They do not make them anymore. Someone happened to post it brand new on ebay while I was getting the paint done.

I can't get over how good the xB looks. Finally got the paint and rocker panels done, and it's almost like new. These pics are what I started with, vs now. A lot of my own blood, sweat and tears went into this (especially blood, as I ruptured my kidney cysts like every time I touched it lmao)

Annnnnd finished. This went mostly well except for some aftermarket weirdness (bolt holes not being big enough for bolts that *came with the bumper cover*, some alignment issues, no holes for skidplate bolts??)

This is probably not the best time for me to be doing this, but somehow I just do not feel any regret. This little car makes me so happy, has been insanely reliable and I have always wanted to be able to restore and customize it. I feel I needed this.

Still not 100% sure on the new color though.

Got the xB back (for now) and holy shit, they did an awesome job on the new rocker panels (especially considering the fact that they had to use Corolla rockers). Dude said they fit like a glove though, which is very good to know lol

(they were left primed because the car is being painted next week)
