We are going to talk about the Kelly Oubre news
www.youtube.com/live/KY2gB1j...
NEW:
Kelly Oubre suffered a sprain of the lateral collateral ligament in his left elbow.
The initial injury occurred during last night’s game against Memphis.
Oubre will be reevaluated in approximately two weeks
I actually think the problem is the opposite of most public discourse in that the current system encourages a lot more “tanking from the middle”
Having a few godawful teams is whatever. The incentives are currently too strong for mid teams to just throw the final two months in the trash
He’s going to need 43 free throws. Have his team intentionally foul to extend the game. Throw in a foul of someone else off ball to throw them off the scent. Make sure he checks out as soon as he passes Kobe
63 combined points from Cam Payne and Kelly Oubre. Hell of an effort from those two
A very good VJ game in his return, too.

what an absolutely insane Cam Payne performance, just shooting the goddamn lights out (7/7 from three??!?!?)
Nick Nurse says Maxey has met with multiple hand specialists and is expecting an update postgame tonight
VJ Edgecombe is AVAILABLE tonight
One of the toughest hours we’ll do all season, let’s try to have some fun with it!

Sixers ended the 1st with a Grimes-Edwards-Terry-Martin-Drummond lineup, goodness gracious do they need to get healthy
Gonna go ahead and pencil this one in as a loss
Tyrese Maxey is officially OUT vs Cleveland tomorrow with what the team has dubbed a right fifth finger sprain. He will also miss Tuesday's game vs. Memphis, and will have a consultation + additional testing to determine a treatment plan, per the Sixers
Not a surprising loss for the Sixers, but all eyes now turn to Tyrese Maxey, who appeared to hurt his hand in the final minute in a collision with Adem Bona.
Not great! Also, Sixers now officially in play-in seeding after Orlando's win today.
THE RECAP

you guys aren't going to believe this but the Sixers lost the third quarter by 10 points
I'm not sure a Sixers team has been able to sit in a zone for as long as they did in that first quarter, but great job by Bona on the back end communicating and particularly by Maxey up top

Terrific Jabari Walker game for the Sixers, otherwise one of the most uninspiring performances of the season in a nailbiter win. Take the W, I suppose.
THE RECAP from me

The Jazz are tanking so hard that they ended a guy's season for sleep apnea surgery and the Sixers are now losing to them in the third quarter
Alongside Edgecombe, Kelly Oubre remains OUT due to illness in addition to the expected absences of Joel Embiid and Paul George
VJ Edgecombe suffered a lumbar contusion in the second quarter of last night’s game against San Antonio.
Edgecombe is out for tonight’s game against Utah and will be reevaluated ahead of the team’s next game at Atlanta.
Sixers Spurs postgame starts before the game ends, because who cares!

They brought in Bob Costas, Doug Collins, and The Czar to watch this Sixers travesty, this is elder abuse
VJ Edgecombe will not return tonight (lower back soreness)
