I can relate. You're not alone in this, I've had the same struggles as you.🫂

Violence began with life itself, and will continue to exist until life becomes extinct. To think that we -- not just as a society, not just as a species, but as a whole -- can free ourselves from this constant is simply laughable.

From that point onward, all organisms born thereafter grew more and more sophisticated, all just to ensure they could consume resources without contest. At our scale, a computer virus is metaphysically no different from an organic virus. The core mechanism of attack is fundamentally unchanged.

We can't rid ourselves of violence completely. The very concept of violence was born when the first organism began to reproduce. Having no capability of complex or sapient thought, they couldn't properly communicate, so they began war, and with it an arms race we now call "evolution."

What if that’s the intention? I could easily see this being applied to psychological horror games where the world around you is constantly shifting.
