Too expensive when you didn't know more than 1/2 of the acts you'd be seeing until a few weeks before, + travel/hotel in major cities + general apathy, it was always a gamble.

A live tour is something I've always wanted them to do, they say it'll relaunch but I doubt it in the current climate.

What a load of nonscience that response is, quite dismissive of broadcasters that chose / choose to withdraw

Good to see the juries back in the semis and expanded. While the max 10 votes change appears good, I don't see anything about stopping you from using multiple payment methods? Lower numbers but not necessarily lower proportion.

Clearly they are desperate not to have a vote.

Went to see Sam Ryder's Sunday matinee at Clwb Ifor Bach, his vocals are just amazing. Really enjoying his new album Heartland

Keep coming back to the word 'childish'. Personally didn't see the need to change it, and wasn't seeing anyone wanting it to change. The 70 with the heart I did like though #Eurovision

Overall, not a contest I'll be rewatching much of, in terms of quality the weakest for some time. But at least there's a few songs I'll continue to appreciate

- Estonia finishing 3rd, WTF? Both juries and public need help
- Underwhelming winner, not one I'll be listening to any time soon
- The EBU need to have that conversation otherwise the results will be a farce again and again, been saying for months it could happen & it almost did

- Malta failing in the public vote make me laugh
- Switzerland zero points (for a moment I thought my 100/1 bet was about to pay off), totally undeserved
- UK zero points (not unexpected but still a shame), come on BBC, prove you want to win rather than hoping to fluke it

Needed a round of decompress, but some thoughts on last night #Eurovision:

- Italy and Greece finishing 5th and 6th, so happy to see them get some respect
- Albania not doing as well as I hoped, but still a solid top 10
- Käärijä + Baby Lasagna was fun, not fussed on Nemo's performance

What an underwhelming winner, although the EBU will be relieved. Nothing for Switzerland from the public, WTF are you on about? Also feel bad for Remember Monday. What a poor final. #Eurovision

Prediction for tonight's #Eurovision final, think we'll see the most chaotic voting sequence with surprises all over the place. Personally hoping for Switzerland or Albania to win.

🇳🇴 solid opener, shame I have sit through everything to get to 🇦🇱. 🇫🇮 and 🇸🇪 getting prime spots (so predictable), 🇨🇭 get favourable acts before and after. Not feeling positive for 🇬🇧.

Would still rather an open draw than producers dictating everything #Eurovision

Discussion in work today was 'your favourite #Eurovision song', most people picked one or two, one of those 'how long is a piece of string?' questions for me so I had to give a lengthy list.

Another consistent 8/10, although after seeing 🇦🇺 & 🇮🇪 I did swap them for 🇱🇻 & 🇨🇿, so glad 🇬🇷 and 🇩🇰 made it!

Would have been nice for the songs of 2020 to be those who didn't get a second chance, overall again an underwhelming show, sums up the season for me. #Eurovision

#Eurovision Semi 2 prediction time, again I've been avoiding rehearsal clips so not based on them. This is the tougher to call of the semis so I expect some shocks, only really listen to two of them on the playlist tbh

8/10 on my picks, not surprised I was wrong about 🇸🇮 but 🇧🇪 was a shock, but was right on 🇨🇾. Thought the show was pretty average, hate the new voting sequence, opening + intervals weren't anything special. Watched with the family, they were underwhelmed when I said 🇸🇪 were the favourites #Eurovision

My #Eurovision predictions for tonight's semi, quite a few obvious ones but got a gut feeling that Slovenia can make it over Cyprus. Could see an NQ for Tommy Cash but I've put it in.

Note I have been avoiding rehearsal clips so I can enjoy them on the night.

🇵🇱 - Don't listen to it that much, but very Eurovision, MAYBE
🇸🇮 - Pleasant + good message, might shock Q, MAYBE
🇩🇪 - Love the song, worry about the live vocals (🇳🇱 2023 flashback 😢), HIT
🇸🇪 - Over-played and overrated, would rather a different winner, MAYBE
