I've heard that some people use water shoes, how good are those?

I think part of the reason the socks feel so much better is that my shoes are running shoes that are very flat to the ground and kinda lack an arch, which makes hitting the down arrow and especially the up arrow more difficult

I'm not sure what style I'll choose - the tighter form is incredibly comfortable but the lack of grip is pretty worrying

trying out playing DDR with socks instead of shoes, and it's a very immediate improvement to my form since I can play closer to the center, which means my foot speed is faster. the big drawback though is that the decrease in traction and foot size makes crossovers slippery and require more movement

to be fair sanae's is like significantly harder lol

DDC arc of FDS will probably irreversibly destroy the characterizations of the grassroots youkai but also raiko will appear in a print work again so is this a sacrifice worth making

is the lunar capital built on moon rabbit slave labor? probably not, because we know moon rabbits are pretty unproductive - which is only fair considering their jobs are basically meaningless

so what's the actual reality? we don't know. we know moon rabbits love to exaggerate, and toyohime certainly isn't unbiased - it's something in between.

one big example of this is how moon rabbits are treated

other moon rabbits complain about too much work, and reisen states that they're nothing but soldiers or slaves. but in CiLR and SSiB, when we actually see moon rabbits they're playing, napping, and generally being happy doing anything but work

it's not really a secret that the theming of the print work and its narrators determine what events show up and how other characters are portrayed. these biases are obviously really apparent in something like CoLA or AFiEU but it's not like they aren't in the manga too

fds has been running for more than 5 years now and that is like 3 years too many

kasen sees reimu as a lazy, greedy, and very human, kosuzu sees reimu as a figure of authority, the three fairies see reimu as almost a sort of sleeping bear, etc

I think it makes sense because different print works are from the perspective of different characters, so different sides of reimu are embellished appropriately

the fact that there is rarely if ever an omnipotent narrator in touhou is something I personally really like about the series

I love touhou title themes I love touhou ending themes I never get tired of hearing the theme of eastern story motif it's genuinely so pretty every time
