This one is happening so close to losing Liah to cancer and I’m kinda worn out from it all and feeling overwhelmed with depression about it. Yesterday was the anniversary of my mom dying and I don’t really like this time of year anymore because of that. Trudging onward though. No other choice but to

That’s my main concern but I can’t get an earlier regular non emergency vet appointment until tomorrow so if we need to we’ll take him to the emergency one I just don’t want him suffering needlessly.

Awww I certainly will. I’m still floored by how many people the world over love these wayward felines. I tell them all the time they have no idea how many people love them in the world.

I can’t really tell or not. I think it’s more of a lung problem difficulty breathing like he’s got bronchitis or something. He’s a pretty ragged feral 10 year old. Lots of battle nicks in his ears. That’s a long life for an outdoor feral male. Glad we got him TNR’d when we did first moving in here.

You’ll be friendly with each other soon enough. How nice to see and hear.

He’s currently chilling in our half bathroom area but he is breathing ruggedly and irregularly and it sounds like he has a massive chest congestion and hasn’t been eating as well. We’ll cross our fingers but it’s not looking good from my standpoint and experience in these matters.

Meanwhile, Sir LeisureSuit Leroy Lederhosen is not doing well from a health standpoint and as a feral cat who is estimated at ten years of age is looking like it’s going to be imminent. We have an appointment for him on Tuesday at the Betternarian to see about what to do and how to proceed. Paws in.

Cool, I just need to plug in play a few more I think they’ll be easy components before going fully live with it. Maybe a way to raise funds and or get thinks for around the flophouse. Still haven’t totally wrapped me eyes round it yet but when I do!!! Oh boy look out then !!!

We had first urban boar pig show up to try to get a bite of cat food. He was scratchy & when he saw me he hoof scooted outta there. Don’t know much about them other than they can be dangerous when the get riled up. Got a whole bunch of reading to see how to best help the cats and maybe the boar too.

A lot of people myself included are getting cart before the horse about thinking we can’t do this effectively because of the overwhelming nature and size and power of the structure. Sets us up for failure from the get. Sort of like being able to eat an elephant one bite at a time.

My obligatory Art by Louis Wain imposition for the year. They said he was a bit touched in the head but the old boy sure made some fine art mostly devoted to to feline matters. I loved his sense of whimsy and his bright evocative color choices.
