I love these early 90s gimmick covers. The cheap plastic "jewel" adds kind of a third dimension to this.

I started this when it was released, then had to stop and just today got around to finishing it. It's a really good read that stands out among the other alternate universe takes. It's more a reflection about humanity than constant action scenes. Recommended.

Not technically a comic, but a wonderfully illustrated book. Carlo Collodi's "Pinocchio", annotated by Lemony Snicket and illustrated by Mike Mignola. It comes in a hardcase and includes a print and bookmark. Worth it.
