That picture was taken from a security camera days before at the hostel he was staying at so he was not necessarily wearing the same clothes.

This morning I dragged myself out of bed at 3:00 to head to the West End Bridge in hopes of capturing the moon over PPG Place and the Christmas tree at the Point in #Pittsburgh. Luckily the clouds stayed away for long enough to allow that to happen. Made for an amazing view.

Very interesting development. I am familiar with earlier approaches where one would use analog computers to solve complex systems. For example, in nuclear physics where one would calculate the rate of fission in a reactor subject to moderators and other chemicals, using resistors, capacitors, etc..

The perfect Storm. A pandemic event coupled with the fact we are not making enough progress to lessen the effects of climate change. The next few years will be critical.

Environmental Exposures and Long COVID in a Prospective Population-Based Study in Catalonia (COVICAT Study) | Environmental Health Perspectives | Vol. 132, No. 11

Very interesting. Incidently and sadly, it also shows that despite all the efforts to combat disinformation and engage society to do something to mitigate climate change, the curve has not bent.

Of course, without any of these efforts, it probably would be even worse.
