It's the final stretch, the final sprint, the last 500 meters before election day here in Chicago.
We're all gas no breaks, and in a race with almost half a million in outside spending, we need all the gas we can get -- help us out? secure.actblue.com/donate/ridge...
❤️
It's Friday the 13th here in the ☘️lucky☘️ 13th District, and with just 4 days until election day, I want to say how lucky I am to have so many incredible volunteers on this campaign.
This is a grassroots, people-powered campaign - and we're working every day to earn your vote :)

Proud to announce the support of 44th Ward Action!
“Ridge is the youngest candidate int his race and his platform is progressive without ifs, thens and buts. ... In this race, our vote is for Ridge.”

thank you!
Illinois' Democratic primary (nine days away) has overshadowed another big day for me: my birthday!
While I would still be the youngest state rep in Chicago, it would now be at 28. And you can help make that happen: secure.actblue.com/donate/rk-bd...
See one of us at Welles Park or Truman College earlier today? Maybe knocking your or 500 other doors in Uptown? Stop and say hey to your friendly neighborhood candidate for state rep & the best team in the biz.
🔟 days out til we send a new generation to Springfield.
2b) to that same point, Garland was milquetoast. Should've been Doug Jones or someone who would prosecute those who sought to overturn the election
3) didn't acknowledge enough people were angry at status quo, short campaign, too much to list
4) minorities in both House + Senate & some feckless Dems
Don't have much time (there's a campaign to run!) so I will attempt to lightning round:
1) Dems took 2016 for granted & didn't see how mad everyone was. At 18, I actually ran to be a Bernie delegate (lost)
2a) Should've charged him. Look at South Korea, Peru, other nations
I worked for the Harris-Walz campaign to stop Trump, plain and simple.
I do not believe any individual or organization should be able to double (triple?) a local candidate's fundraising at the push of a button.
We're tired of big money in our politics, whether that's SuperPACs, big-money self-funding, or Illinois' convoluted rules to benefit those already in power.
As the next state representative in HD-13, I am committed to meaningful electoral & campaign finance reforms... (1/1)
like ranked-choice voting, public financing of elections, closing campaign finance loopholes, and getting big money out of our politics. (2/2)
So thankful to our volunteers from the University of Chicago College Democrats, and glad that the Chicago Maroon could tag along.

13 days left in the race for the ☘️lucky☘️ 13th!
If you think we need a new generation of leaders in our politics, and not just another lawyer, lobbyist, or insider, I hope you'll entrust me with your vote. Early voting is now open across the city - find a spot at www.ridgefor13.com/early-voting
Spent a lovely day sharing my campaign with voters in Sheridan Park, Uptown, and at the Truman College early voting center today -- go to the polls, Chicago! And if you see me, do say hello :)
Update on the ‘Draft Kings Presents: Adam Braun for Illinois District 13’ saga.
On Sunday Braun no-showed a candidate forum and lashed out against it, seemingly because he was afraid everyone would talk about why sucks.
In response 46th Ward Dems Committeeman Sean Tenner called out his lies.
I love the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District posting in observance of Pulaski Day
Thanks to everyone who joined us tonight for the final candidate forum before the election in my race for state representative. I'll be sharing more clips over the coming days, starting with - fittingly - my closing statement:
Tune in to the final candidate forum of my race for state representative here in the ☘️lucky☘️ 13th District: www.facebook.com/watch/live/?...
Because we put... incels in charge of the Pentagon???
Spent today canvassing up in Bowmanville, sharing my campaign for a new era of politics in our city.
Fake spring part 2 was nice. If you haven't stepped outside at least for a bit, Chicago. Get on it. It’s still practically shorts weather.
I am a member of the gun violence generation. I have marched, rallied, and spent my life working for candidates and organizations dedicated to the elimination of gun violence. And I am so proud to have the distinction of being a 2026
@momsdemandaction.org Gun Sense Candidate.
When I was in State's Attorney Foxx's office, the question was how we could use the policy levers we had to make the criminal justice system fairer & more equitable.
Under SA Burke, the drive to progressive criminal justice reform must come from the legislature - as state rep, that's what I'll do.
Hope you'll tune in to the last forum before early voting kicks off in earnest here in the ☘️lucky☘️ 13th District!

Thanks to all those who joined us!
We'll be at the Claddagh Ring (2306 W Foster) chatting with folks about my campaign for the next hour or so! Come through:
SCOOP: IL-9 congressional candidate and current state senator Mike Simmons had police called on him in Buena Park while canvassing for votes. No arrest was made. Here’s the video of the interaction @senmikesimmons.bsky.social recorded and shared with me.
