LMAOO! It’s a deal. I’ve had multiple people tell me this remake is very much a “Jon” game, so I gotta see what all the hype is about. 😌🩷

Totally makes sense! If Chris didn’t show up, there wouldn’t be a single god darn thing about it I’d recognize as an RE game. Those games should not not have been mainline entries, imo. Regardless, it’s awesome you guys enjoyed them and I hope you enjoy RE9 even more!

I don’t like 7 at all and 8 is fine, but really stupid. Both feel like you could call them “a guy named Ethan fights dusty rednecks and temu Magneto” instead and we’d have zero clue they were RE games. The thrill of RE9 is making me resent those games VERY much for that. 🤣😋

No spoilers, but I’ve been playing Resident Evil 9 all weekend. While I don’t think I’m close to finishing, this one will rank high up there for me, no matter where it ends up, as it FINALLY feels like we got a sequel to RE6. It feels exactly what I imagine an alternate RE7 could have been.
