Pulled out a real dismal watercolor Plein Aire from 10 yrs ago and reworking by lifting, scrubbing and keeping fingers crossed. No great loss if it doesn’t work but an interesting challenge in watercolor post-creation.

Word of the day is ‘matutolypea’: extreme grumpiness in the morning.

From the Latin ‘Matuta’, Roman goddess of the dawn, and the Greek ‘lype’, ‘grief’. Put them together and you get ‘morning grief’.
