#Measles is preventable with two doses of vaccine.

Yet in 2024, 30+ million children remained under-protected, leading to more large or disruptive outbreaks.

Only 76% of children got the second dose, far below the 95% coverage needed to stop outbreaks ๐Ÿ‘‰ bit.ly/4kFzSGW

Children living in countries facing conflict or fragility are 3x more likely to miss life-saving vaccines than those living in stable countries.

Conflicts and crises are putting childhood vaccinations at risk, threatening to undo years of progress.

New WHO & @unicef.org data shows the number of unvaccinated children in 13 crisis-affected countries rose from 3.6M in 2019 to 5.4M in 2024.

Too many children are given medicines that were never properly tested for them.

That means imprecise dosingโ€”and real risks.

Many essential medicines are not designed for children.

That means crushed pills, inaccurate doses, and bitter tastes that make treatment hard to take.

The Global Accelerator for Paediatric Formulations Network (GAP-f) is working to close this gap.

The United Nations agencies and humanitarian partners cannot overstate the urgency of this moment: fuel must be allowed into Gaza in sufficient quantities and consistently to sustain life-saving operations.

12.07.2025 12:32 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 63    ๐Ÿ” 12    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 1

For the first time in 130 days, a small amount of fuel entered Gaza this week. This is a welcome development, but it is a small fraction of what is needed each day to keep daily life and critical aid operations running.

12.07.2025 12:32 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 58    ๐Ÿ” 6    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

These conditions expose families to deadly disease outbreaks and push Gazaโ€™s most vulnerable even closer to death.

12.07.2025 12:32 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 13    ๐Ÿ” 2    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Without fuel, bakeries and community kitchens cannot operate. Water production and sanitation systems will shut down, leaving families without safe drinking water, while solid waste and sewage pile up in the streets.

12.07.2025 12:32 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 13    ๐Ÿ” 4    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Roads and transport will remain blocked, trapping those in need. Telecommunications will shut down, crippling lifesaving coordination and cutting families off from critical information and from one another.

12.07.2025 12:32 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 14    ๐Ÿ” 3    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Without adequate fuel, Gaza faces a collapse of humanitarian efforts.

Hospitals are already going dark; maternity, neonatal and intensive care units are failing, and ambulances can no longer move.

12.07.2025 12:32 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 14    ๐Ÿ” 3    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Without adequate fuel, UN agencies responding to this crisis will likely be forced to stop their operations entirely, directly impacting all essential services in Gaza.

This means no health services, no clean water, and no capacity to deliver aid.

12.07.2025 12:32 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 14    ๐Ÿ” 4    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

After almost two years of war, people in Gaza are facing extreme hardships, including widespread food insecurity. When fuel runs out, it places an unbearable new burden on a population teetering on the edge of starvation.

12.07.2025 12:32 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 12    ๐Ÿ” 4    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Fuel supplies are needed to move the fleet used for transporting essential goods across the Strip and to operate a network of bakeries producing fresh bread for the affected population. Without fuel, these lifelines will vanish for 2.1 million people.
