Thanks to the @boulderchamber.bsky.social for a fantastic forum tonight! Special thanks to Jonathan Singer & Devin Edgley for their work to bring together community partners, corral us candidates. I’m energized by the opportunity to chat with our community! #boulder
Who else had the same thought following weeks of living in a blast furnace? #boulder
We’re fully funded! Thank you to the over 150 donors who generously supported my campaign! We’re grateful to the city for matching every dollar, and now able to focus on connecting with everyone we can. #mbforboulder

Last nights downpour was eagerly welcomed as the hot, dry days of summer wane on. Boulder is currently under Stage 1 Fire Restrictions and our wildfire resiliency takes planning, policy, and community action to build a safer, stronger Boulder. Wow what a kickoff! Thanks to the over a 100 friends, community members, business owners and colleagues that came out yesterday for my campaign kickoff! I’m humbled and energized by your enthusiasm for my re-election—here’s to pushing for more progress on all fronts! #boulder #pushingforprogress
My endorsements for the 2025 #Boulder city council election:
✓ Nicole Speer, PhD
✓ Lauren Folkerts
✓ Matt Benjamin
They are behind much of the progress our current council has made on housing, transpo, climate, inclusion, & the city’s financial strength—and they bring great prospects for more.
Thank you so much Ryan. It’s a privilege to work alongside side you. We’ve got more great work ahead of us.
Had a fun evening for National Night Out. Visited many block parties with our first responders. I must say the water ballon toss in North Boulder got very competitive. #boulder

Here we go! Thanks to everyone who signed for me yesterday to certify my candidacy. I truly appreciate everyone’s support. Thanks to Elesha & John at the Clerks office for such a smooth process. #boulder
Campaign season starts this week.
I’m running for re-election to keep pushing for progress—because I believe Boulder should be a city that’s fully inclusive, more resilient, and vibrant for everyone who calls it home. #boulder

Starting council break with a little reading. #bouldercolorado
Approaching 3 weeks since my appendectomy. Today marks a key milestone as I hiked about 2 miles without any pain. Couldn’t ask for a more scenicic and therapeutic place to be. #bouldercolorado
Congratulations to Frasca Food and Wine for winning the James Beard award for Outstanding Restaurant. They continue to raise the bar and make #boulder ever more proud. Cheers!🥂
Let’s build a Boulder that works for everyone — and have some fun doing it. #RaucousCaucus2025 #ProgressForBoulder #MBforboulder
My appendix may have rage quit but I’m saying YES to keep working on what matters most: a safer community, more middle-income housing, and bold action on homelessness, wildfire mitigation and proactive economic vitality.
Tonight marks an exciting (and slightly unofficial) kickoff to my re-election campaign at Raucous Caucus with the @BoulderProgressives. 🎉
Thank you for clearly articulating the situation we’ve faced for over a year and a half. We not only deserve better, but it’s in our collective hands to be and get better.
I trust our local, state, and federal partners to conduct a thorough investigation and ensure justice is served. Boulder has been tested before, and we will emerge from this stronger and more unified. #boulder
I want to extend my gratitude to our community members for their efforts to de-escalate the situation, and to the first responders for their prompt action in helping those who were injured and in taking the suspect into custody.
Throughout history, we’ve learned that when hate has been allowed to breed, violence is often the outcome. Let me be clear: Hate and violence of all types has no place in our community, and we must all speak out against them. I will continue to stand up against hate and support our Jewish community.
Boulder has struggled to unify in rejecting the growing hate towards our Jewish Community, and as a result, there has been increased tolerance of the intolerant.
Today’s terrorist attack is not only an attack on our Jewish community but an attack on all of us. Over the past 20+ months since October 7th, 2023, we’ve seen antisemitism growing across our country and in our community.
I am heartbroken to hear of the terrorist attack this afternoon on Pearl Street during the peaceful gathering of our Jewish community. My heart is with the victims and their families as they recover from the physical and emotional trauma of this unthinkable hate crime.
Had a great time yesterday playing in the @boulderchamber.bsky.social golf tournament. Our group didn’t win, be we definitely had the most fun. #boulder
Huge news for #boulder! We couldn’t have gotten @sundance.org to make Boulder its new home without our arts community and incredible city staff that helped put together a great proposal. Big thanks to @govofco.bsky.social for your leadership.

I’m thrilled to see the city begin installing our new streetlights after acquiring 4500 streetlights from Xcel. These new LED lights will be Dark Sky compliant (2700k) and save the city $1million/yr in maintenance. Project pays for itself in 6.8yrs. #boulder

Sunrise this morning near #winterpark was spectacular. I wonder what it looked like from #Boulder?
I was fortunate this weekend to ski with my council colleague @ryanwithboulder.bsky.social and his partner up at Winter Park. This is right before we did the hike (skate) over to Vasquez Cirque. BTW, they’re great skiers!
Some of the most snow I’ve seen in @winterparkresort.bsky.social over the past week (over 62”). Get you snorkel if your skiing.
Out at the @communitycycles.bsky.social happy hour. Always great to see long time friends and making new ones. And yes plaid is a #boulder tuxedo 😎.
