I am impressed with JD Vance: dressing worse than Trump is not an easy feat, but he manages to do it every single time!

Well, may be I do understand more than you think, because many decisions on Ukraine under Biden had some levels of Republican support - not the most crazy ones like MTG or Johnson, but sure, I am just a silly eastern European what do I know.

While he is, no doubt, a more decent human being than Trump will ever be (I am not even sure that "human being" really applies to Trump), his actions (and lack of actions) unfortunately led us to this point, and there is no point in denying that or placing all the blame on the GOP

That is true, but many of the issues are of his (or his teams) own doing: the leaks of intelligence, foolish plans of counterattack, the magical wake-up call after Kamala lost the elections, when it turned out that tons of things could have been done wo congressional approval... the list goes on.

So tell me this: if Congress is so powerful, how come everybody in Congress tolerates what Trump is doing right now? Not just to Ukrainians. To their own voters.

Sorry, but I don't buy the "Biden couldn't" argument. He could, he just cared too much about preserving Russia: like Bush, like Clinton

That was NATO? Waiting till the last moment and giving Russians every opportunity to move their warplanes far away?
How come all-powerfull NATO, that stopped Biden from letting Ukraine to strike Russia with ATACMS does not beat some common sense into Trump?

Biden was behind sending way fewer tanks than the US easily could.
I can go on and on.
While Biden was nearly not as bad as Trump and GOP, he has plenty of Ukrainian blood on his hands, and let's not pretend he doesn't and it's all a Republican plot.

Biden was the one who dragged his feet when there was bipartisan support for arming Ukraine. Biden was the one who prevented Ukraine from firing ATACMS deep into Russian territory. Biden blocked the F16 decision for years.

It doesn't matter what he thought about Trump.
He knew full well about the scale of Russian genocide in Ukraine and chose to prevent Ukraine from winning.
And now he (along with Clinton and Obama, who were quick to disarm Ukraine) is choosing to stay silent.
He is complicit in genocide. Period.

Biden blocked sale and delivery of the Swedish Gripen to Ukraine. Insisting that F-16s donated by the Dutch, Danish, Norwegians, and Belgians were enough. We are lucky the Swedes have trained Ukrainian pilots with the Gripen since 2023 anyway, and now is the time to give Ukraine the Gripen.

Make no mistake, Biden's administration was doing everything it could for us to end up in exactly this situation. If not for the cowardice of Biden, Russia would have been defeated years ago.
European leaders shouldn't have relied on the US to deal with their security issue.

Europe should wake up and start treating the US for what it is: an active ally of Russia, a country where nobody has the courage to do something meaningful to stop Trump's assistance to Putin.
The time to tiptoe around Russian assets in the EU - like Orban and Fico - has passed.
