Ellie really was the perfect orb™️
She is! They said she was around 6 months so still very much a kitten. We think she will probably end up being on the bigger side though since her limbs are so long and I think she has Maine Coone traits. But we will see
I don’t know I guess it’s coincidence or maybe just natural with the way our house is laid out but Sophie knows all of Ellie’s favorite places. It’s been making me tear up. She’s even already been sleeping on Augs side of the bed.
I need to start working on my outfit for going to see Florence + the machine… I have fabric I was going to use to make an aerial outfit for when I did a performance to cosmic love but since that is never going to happen I want to make something whimsical and wonderful with it for the concert

I have a feeling that she was a stray and someone was feeding her canned tuna. I have no evidence for that other than the closer the food we’ve given her looks to canned tuna we eat, the more easily and happily she eats it. We will slowly try to integrate other food as she gets more comfortable
Sophie hadn’t been eating a lot over the past couple days and we were getting worried. We tried a bunch of foods with her as she has been struggling with dry food, she seemed like she was interested and hungry but wouldn’t eat anything. Turns out she will only eat tuna. I’m just glad she’s eating
Sophie has slept next to me on the bed for the past two nights. She must be figuring out our people schedule because when I turn the big light off and the small fairy lights on, she jumps up into the bed and curls right up. The last 2 nights she has slept there the entire night
Sophie looks so much like Mila and Samwise which is really funny because I feel like the old lady from the Aristocats except we need a little grey one. Unfortunately our house is too small for another kitty. But man childhood dreams do come true
We adopted a new kitty today! Her name is Sophie (after Sophie from Howls Moving Castle)! Shes so sweet and really playful and she’s already so curious. We thought she was going to be shy because she was timid at the shelter but she’s way more outgoing than we anticipated!

Spent Valentine’s Day starting a rewatch of apothecary diaries as a treat and started researching materials for Maomao and Jinshi ehehehehe
Another big push to get that space cleaned and reorganized was to have a better spot to store my lolita clothes. I really want to get back into wearing it more but it was so hard having them in the closet with my regular clothes. A handful don’t fit anymore, but I’m going to work on altering them!

We’ve cleared out a lot of our older costumes but I wanted to feel like if I made new things that we’d actually have a place to store them and I feel much better about that now. I guess it was a little head start on spring cleaning ☺️
I decided that I didn’t want to work on new costumes until we actually cleared out the room where we store most of our stuff. It’s also our guest bedroom and it’s been a mess for awhile. So today I spent most of the day sorting and reorganizing that room and it’s like a weight is lifted ahhh
