The close button on hover can be disabled via Lepton's hidden settings (as explained in Floorp Hub; issues related to Lepton's advanced settings are not supported).
Set userChrome.tab.close_button_at_hover to false.

Sorry for the confusion!

The Photon, Lepton, and Firefox UI Fix (Proton Fix) appearance settings in Floorp are CSS themes called Lepton.
Fluerial and Proton (Firefox's default) are not based on Lepton, so the close button does not appear on hover.

That is a feature of Lepton. Please check the appearance settings in Floorp Hub.

We aren't aiming to be a "modern AI browser." Any AI features will strictly remain opt-in. Our focus is on customizability—simply adding choices for you.

It's live in Floorp Flasco (prev. Floorp Test). To join all Flasco experiments, set your participation policy to "Always Participate".

The left side is the Floorp version, and the right side is the Firefox base version ✏️

So, that means it's Floorp 12.6.0 built on top of Firefox 145.0.1 🦊
