this articulated a lot of the same thoughts i've had about art in different mediums, and tying in the brandon sanderson talk was a nice touch. i can definitely relate to wanting to engage with more art, regardless of whether it's books or video games.

the pixel art work on this is very impressive! there's some neat techniques on the water like dithering and slight bloom that gives a dreamy look to it, and the animation is so smooth and satisfying to look at.

there are still a lot of people who don’t consider video games an art form and more as a service, so they don’t see games as an avenue for self expression
