I think I’ve finally reached the point of apathy with West Ham now. I literally couldn’t think of anything worse than going to Newcastle at Home on Sunday.

Isn’t the world just utterly shit at the minute? I feel like I open laptop, close laptop and sigh, almost daily now.

If you think, after all the shit over the last few days in WestHam-isphere and the absolutely appalling way the club has gone about its business recently, that I would be going to Villa away, you’d be absolutely right.

THIS.Whenever a manager, who isn’t actually a very good people manager comes to West Ham it falls apart. It’s likely because of a lack of genuine process at the club. We rely to much on the man, and not enough on the mechanisms in place. Why Brighton are so successful I suppose!

I think you’re right, I certainly felt it under Moyes and I thought it was the right time for him to go. It’s just, we’re West Ham. We’re supposed to be the “best of the rest” but there’s such a gulf in class between us and the top teams it’s crazy.

It’s the apathy that gets me. Everyone around me, who I have sat with since 2016 wasn’t even upset, just a sense of “let’s get this over with”, and if we keep it -4 goals I’ll be happy… stuff that kills clubs that!

Such a wierd match that. Normally I would be so happy with how we played. Possession based, lots of shots, great passes into the final third etc but the score line doesn’t lie. 3-1 is convincing. Where do we go from here? ⚒

Completely agree! No team should ever really feel invincible to a club like West Ham and yet, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City in recent years have felt almost guaranteed “L’s”. ⚒

Isn’t it funny, how 24 hours can totally change a mood? Post Newcastle I do feel far more positive. The play was direct but entertaining with some fast passes. I don’t know about us playing out from the back, but it is a style that’s new! Perform well at Arsenal and he may have just saved his job!
