She took his hand, stepping forward as her other hand reached up to rest it upon his cheek, looking into his eyes.

Melanie blinked a little, watching him step closer, which caused her to bite down her lip nervously.
“I am glad to hear it, and same actually… though to be honest… I missed seeing you around.”
She shrugged, speaking honestly.
